BIOGRAPHY
Chastity May Magyar grew up in rural Yazoo County, Mississippi. While Chastity was a child, her dad worked in the oil field and her mom was a teacher. Chastity and her brother never realized until later in life that the family did not have much in terms of money. Both her mom and dad worked hard and took on side jobs to make sure Chastity and her brother had what they needed and more. Through the examples and self-sacrifice of her parents, Chastity learned her unrivaled work ethics and self-reliance.
Through academics and athletics, Chastity paid her own way through college and earned gas money from side jobs on campus. She graduated with honors from both Holmes Community College and Delta State University and holds the degrees of Bachelor of Social Science Education, Master of Physical Education, and a Doctor of Education. Chastity has taught and coached on both the junior high and high school levels as well as a five-year stint as an instructor of Health and coach at Holmes Community College.
After starting a family with her husband Chad, Chastity took a work sabbatical to home school her four children. During this time Chastity also volunteered as a coach and was elected to the Board of the Yazoo County School District. Chastity just completed her seventh and final year on the board.
Chastity is a devout Christian who believes in the sanctity of life, the right to bear arms, a secure border, a strong police and military force, a safe living environment for citizens, quality education at an affordable price to the taxpayers, energy independence, and the pioneering spirit America was founded upon.
Chastity envisions a future where her four children and future generations are not beholden to a government, where children are not indoctrinated, and where self-reliance reigns supreme. Chastity May Magyar vows to be an unwavering voice in the Senate, to lead by conviction, and to ensure our God given freedoms.
